ALTON REGENERATION GROUP (SRB)
Minutes of the AGM held on Tuesday 23rd February 2010 at The Royal Oak, Alton.
PRESENT: John Moorhouse (Treasurer), Gillian Morrison, Linda Goodwin, Pat Riesco, Henry Parker

WELCOME: John welcomed everyone to the meeting.
MINUTES OF PREVIOUS AGM (’09)- were read, agreed and signed.
CHAIRMAN’S REPORT
Website- going from strength to strength, he thanked Neil for his maintenance of the site. It regularly receives 40,000 hits per month.
Pump area- funding application with Dave Scrivens. This still needs chasing up.Linda to contact Dave Scrivens
Round house event – another successful occasion approximately 300 attended,thanks to Jonathon and Josie and everyone who helped.
Maxine, representing the ladies from the quilters had agreed to renovate the wicker figures throughout this year & in time for the 2010 Roundhouse event ,so our thanks in advance to them.
Membership- there are only small number of us attending our meetings,so in an effort to increase our profile ,Pat will put more leaflets about the group in the surgery with dates of future meetings, this is following on from their distribution to every house in the village.
Notice about future meetings to be placed in the Parish Council magazine. We could also email group leaders reminding them about the group and how they could apply for grants with support from the group.
TREASURER’S REPORT: (see attached sheet)
The balance was now £2723.55
Gill gave a vote of thanks to John for his work as treasurer over the last year.
